Parallax Capital Partners, LP, founded in 1998, is a hedge fund utilizing the General Partners economics background and his 33 years of experience working with Investment Securities, Fixed Income, Futures, Options, Stocks and Mortgage Backed Securities products. The objective of the fund is to produce outstanding returns, results commensurate with those of stocks, and emphasis on utilizing mortgage derivative products.

However, the fund may, at the discretion of the General Partner, utilize most other investment tools in order to attempt to create exceptional returns. Although the fund does use some leverage to accomplish its returns, meaning there is substantial risk to the invested principal in the fund, the leverage is not consistent with the 30 times leverage used in most hedge funds. Up to June 2008, leverage has never exceeded 2 to 1. Notwithstanding the above comments, The Private Placement Memorandum (PPM) is the sole source of information on this fund.
